Whenever you aim for unforgettable memories, you go to a professional photographer. Thus, you relive your special event or occasion any time you get nostalgic.
However, we know what passion for photography is. And we are aware not everybody will make a career out of this passion. So, to support your passion, we've made a list of some tips and tricks you can use to photograph nature, whether you're using your phone or a semi-professional camera.
1. Know your phone/camera
Photography devices nowadays, either phones or cameras, come with sophisticated settings. You may think that automatic settings should work just fine, but think again.
If you want to get really amazing photos, the kind that you see professional photographers take, know your settings. Play with your device, read the manual, get familiar with all the settings. Then, start shooting!
2. Use the right equipment
For nature photographs, you often need to use lower shutter speeds. This means you might need a tripod. Unless you have a really steady hand (and trust me, in photography you don't, and every breath matters), make sure to be equipped properly.
3. Be patient
Photography is not for the agitated, impatient people. If you're the impatient kind, learn how to wait. To get that perfect photograph, you need to take your time, wait for the right light or even for the right bird to land into your landscape. Plan your image and wait!
4. Remember the rule of thirds
This is an important rule in photography. Think how your image is cut in 9 equal sections, divided by two lines, both on vertical and horizontal plan. The eye usually falls where the lines intersect. So place your subject or point of interest at the intersecting of these lines.
5. Have fun
Enjoy your trips, the fresh air and the walk. Don't make it a special purpose to get the perfect image. Just play, practice and have fun!
